Why is CCNY’s mission important to you?

There’s always room to become better, always!

Tell us about a project with CCNY you are proud of.

Coaching and consulting Erie County’s “Children’s System of Care” on program development activities and the use of data in quality improvement initiatives. By acting as a liaison between community organizations and other Erie County Departments, (ECDSS, ECDMH, ECYS) community based agencies are better positioned to ensure program expectations are met while engaging in continuous quality improvement.

What inspires you?

Clarity: Those moments when all the thoughts of the world and your job and stress and life just disappear and you can think about the bigger picture and what’s important in your life. I’m thankful for those moments and what they bring. There is inspiration to be found in those moments.

Why are you in non-profit work?

I get to meet and work with amazing people every day, people so ridiculously inspiring and awesome that our minds and souls grow deeper and kindlier just by being around one other. People who are working each day to make our community better.

Who is a hero of yours?

My father

What’s something quirky about you?

I hate pickles but could devour a jar of peanut butter in one sitting!

What’s in your coffee?

Milk (NOT creamer – yuck!)

I will never be seen without… a watch.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Seasonal trips to Letchworth State Park, reading historical fictions, hosting wine and cheese nights with family and friends, long walks, and watching my 13-year-old son play basketball.
